My opinion on GMA Warrant of Arrest
This morning on our Clinical Psychology class, we were asked if we do agree with the Warrant of Arrest issued to Gloria. All of the people in the class answered yes, and it was only me who answered no. I answered no in the sense that the time the warrant was issued is just not at the right time. I believe that there is the right time to for everything and this thing was just not done at the right time.
My reason for this is the present state of GMA. She’s physically weak which means that she may not be as well mentally and psychologically ready to face all these charges. As a MP student, I am aware that all of these factors may be a precipitating factor to mental disorders which may then lead to bad ending just like Angelo Reyes. Instead of being able to face all the due charges, he went on to commit suicide. Sure thing, we don’t want that to happen again to Arroyo. Right?
Arroyo is accountable for a lot of things she did to our country and with the right due process and at the right time, no matter what she do, she will face ALL these charges eventually. She can not run away from the law.
